    Description

100% authentic magnified deceptive Georgian carnival glass barware wine glass! I have sold many penny lick glasses and Victorian strange carnival glasses. I know a lot about these type of glasses. Please read below so you too can learn more about these type of glasses and what’s not a penny lick glass.
    DESCRIPTION:
Georgian magnified deceptive carnival glass barware wine glass! Second picture illustrates the magnification of the glass. This wine glass is made with a thick magnification to deceive patrons on the amount of wine the glass actually holds! Fantastic conversation starter and looks awesome! We date this c1820 and is around 200 years old. This wine glass has a very RARE angle cut edging on the bottom part of stem. This type cut is not on any of our other glasses for sale! Plus the inside magnification and entire design is very unique, great Georgian wine glass!
    Rules on authentic Penny lick
    glasses!
A genuine Victorian penny lick glass is very shallow! Rule of thumb for measurement is under 30mm deep. The shallower on the inside the thicker the glass will be giving it greater magnification. Anything deeper then 30mm can fall into other categories like wine, barware or Georgian. True Victorian era and earlier carnival glassware will have a thick magnification and unique shape.
Penny lick and other type of Victorian era glassware is also called carnival glass.
    Measure: View pics. 80mm deep
    Weight: 5.91 ounces
    Condition: Mint!
Last pic shows our entire collection and is NOT INCLUDED! Each glass is for sale in our store, if you don’t see the glass then it’s been sold. This also shows my qualifications about Georgian and Victorian era glassware.
