They can be used to help keep trays and pans from sliding around on the tops of stands, and to protect bowls from wear or breakage that may occur if rested directly on the metal wire frames. The American Metalcraft 3SSS slip stop sleeves fit on a large number of American Metalcraft Ironworks risers and stands.
